I taught for Mesa Public Schools for 33 years, retiring in 2002. I taught 5th grade for 8 years at Hawthorne, and spent the last 25 years of my teaching career at Emerson teaching 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9 years being the librarian.

I love being retired. I occasionally substitute, and have more time to devote to my parents. Life has been enjoyable and rewarding.
