Johnny and Lin are full of stories about their zany youth! They still pal around with their siblings, Nancy Peterka and Ernie Martinez (who are married to each other), and Sharon Knudsen.

Johnny and Lin will be celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary in November! They have five children (Cynnamon, JJ, Shannon, Autumn, and Amber) who all graduated from Westwood, and are the best-grandparents-ever to their seven grandchildren!!

In the early days, Johnny and Lin brought home trophy after trophy from their bowling league, Johnny played softball, and Lin enjoyed ceramic painting.

Nowadays, Johnny enjoys taking his beloved Pings out on the golf course…any golf course, anytime, all the time (until he gets into trouble from Lin!). He has gotten his son and sons-in-law into the game and loves being the man to beat (haha)!

Lin has enjoyed tole-painting over the years, and never ceases to amaze her children by her masterpieces! Her sister Nancy was impressed as well, and began taking classes with her—so now they enjoy one “Sisters-Night” a week. What’s more, Lin and Nancy also attend annual tole-painting conventions in Las Vegas…where they enjoy more than just the paint—Emeril’s should have a booth permanently reserved for them!

Every year Johnny and Lin, along with another couple, take a fishing trip to the White Mountains. The weather is wonderful and the local fruit cobbler is to die for! This is the second year in a row that the women out-fished the men!!
