This has been quite the 40 years since our graduation from Westwood High School. I have so many fond memories of my days at Westwood and have really enjoyed being involved with our reunion. Shortly after high school I went on a mission for my church to Denmark for 2-1/2 years. My mother's ancestors come from Denmark and it was a great experience to be involved in a great cause and also to see the land of my ancestors and learn to speak Danish.

In September of 1968 I married a wonderful girl whom I had dated for some time prior to going to Denmark. Her name is Darlene Johnson from the class of 1968 from Mesa High and we have been married for 37 years. We are blessed with 3 sons and 3 daughters all of whom are happily married. They all live close by except for two families who live in Flagstaff. We have 11 grandchildren with two on the way. I am a very fortunate man and enjoy my wife and family very much. They give meaning, joy and fun to my life. We get together each month and really have a great time watching the kids grow up.

I have been involved in a variety of business interests but primarily my focus has been on building custom homes, developing cusom building lots and real estate. I keep very busy and enjoy working out and trying to keep in shape. If I could just get a hair transplant I wouldn't look all that bad, maybe?!

I also enjoy my involvement in my church work. It is fulfilling and helps me learn and grow in ways that are important to me.

As I get older, I find that my attitude toward life changes and evolves and I learn to appreciate more aspects of life that I didn't so much before. This reunion has brought to me a time to reflect on my life both past and future and has become a catalyst for me to want to pursue other interests and areas of development.

I really look forward to renewing old friendships through this website and the reunion activities and hope that many classmates get involved. Have fun, enjoy all you are and have and let's get together sometime.

Terry.
