Married Connie Jackson (Westwood '66) 37 years ago. We have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. We are still living in the same house a mile from Westwood the past 34 years.
Bachelor of Architecture, cum laude, 1972, ASU and taught there 10 years. Architect and principal at HL Design Build in Phoenix. I have designed projects in Arizona, Nevada, England, China and the Philippines. Also studied watercolor and had a gallery showing in 2002.
I play euphonium with three professional brass groups: Territorial Brass band, Brass Menagerie brass quintet, and Two Balloons tuba/euphonium quartet; and recorded two CDs.
Received the Arizona CultureKeepers award for research and lectures on the history of the brass bands of the Arizona Territorial period.
